"Do it now! " Control
Synthia offers several ways to control when your spoken command is actually executed. These reflect different degrees of confidence in the voice recognizer.
• Manual (0): when the Send button is clicked.
• After delay (1): automatically after a delay after you finish speaking.
• Readback after delay, wait for activation word (2).
• On command (3).
The default mode is on command, change it via activation mode 1. The default activation delay is 2 seconds, change it via activation delay 3 seconds.
The default speech activation word is please . The functional period is a nice formal choice. For a more stylish alternative, consider engage (we're all geeks here, right?). Change it via speech activation word is engage.
You can clear the command input buffer, canceling any pending command, by saying the word cancel. Change that via speech cancellation word is erase .
